Looking for an extra challenge in Elden Ring? The game’s toughest Nightreign bosses just got even more formidable with the introduction of Everdark Sovereigns. These limited-time, more difficult versions of the classic Nightlord foes test your skills with new moves and increased power, making every encounter a true test of endurance.
The first Everdark Sovereign you can face is a revamped version of Adel, Baron of the Night, also known as Gaping Jaw. If you’ve already defeated the standard version, you’ll be ready to take on this tougher iteration. Conquering an Everdark Sovereign rewards you with Sovereign Sigils, rare items that can be exchanged for powerful Relics and other valuable gear.
Keep in mind, these challenging bosses are only available while playing online and for a limited time. The upgraded Gaping Jaw, for instance, will be accessible until June 25th at 8:59 PM ET. Bandai Namco has announced that a new Everdark Sovereign will be introduced each week, with upcoming additions including versions of Sentient Pest and Darkdrift Knight over the next few weeks. Other Everdark bosses will be introduced later, and it appears these tougher variants may return after their initial appearances.
