Full availability is expected by August 2025, with the Sleep A30 hitting shelves on Amazon and Soundcore’s online store.
While the new Sleep A30 comes in at $229.99—higher than last year’s Sleep A20 at $149.99—early Kickstarter backers can secure theirs for just $139. This upgrade brings a sleeker, more comfortable design that’s 7% slimmer, ensuring they don’t protrude from your ears. This means less pressure, especially if you’re a side sleeper who likes to rest on their pillow.
To guarantee a perfect fit, Anker includes four sizes of silicone ear tips, three sizes of memory foam tips, and three ear wing options, catering to various ear shapes and preferences. The Sleep A30 promises to block up to 30dB of external noise, thanks to advanced Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) that employs microphones inside and outside your ears.
However, enhanced ANC does impact battery life. While the previous Sleep A20 could last up to 14 hours on a single charge, the Sleep A30 offers up to nine hours of playback, or up to 45 hours when using the charging case. Keep in mind, this is primarily when listening to sleep sounds stored directly on the earbuds. Streaming music or podcasts from your phone will reduce battery life to approximately 6.5 hours, with a total of 35 hours available via the charging case.
The upgraded charging case features “Adaptive Snore Masking technology.” This clever feature detects snoring sounds nearby, analyzes their volume and frequency, and then generates calming “noise masking audio” sent directly to the earbuds to help drown out disruptive snoring.
Beyond sleep comfort, the Sleep A30 incorporates sleep monitoring and position tracking through the Soundcore app, giving you insights into how restful your night was. Additional features include a private, repeatable alarm with snooze, and a handy Find My Earbud function to locate misplaced earbuds in your sheets or around your bed.
